Bridging the gap between science and luxury in the gem industry.

ICA|Gemlab wanted to embark on a transformative journey through a full rebrand coinciding with the launch of new services.
Under new leadership the company was entering a new era. It was reinvigorating the gem industry with new technology, and wanted to bridge the gap between the laboratories and the end products. In a world where gems were simply seen as raw materials, ICA|Gemlab wanted to showcase the story and beauty of every gemstone alongside precise lab work.
Brand Strategy & Activation
We did a full accounting of ICA | Gemlab’s brand. We immersed ourselves in their ethos of being a lab that is ethical, transparent, and responsible. We then focused on the direction the lab was going, a lab that spoke as much to a jewelry end consumer as much as it did to gem traders.
A full rebrand was started, which included the website, social media, including the packaging and presentation of products. We identified opportunities that ICA|Gemlab could uniquely own, ensuring its brand would stand out. This deep strategic work set the stage for an informed, strategic, and poised brand evolution, which included a full content and event calendar that culminated in various tradeshows and a Gala that launched the new ICA|Gemlab to the world.
